About Me
I am continuing in my journey in life. One about living with disabilities and finding the ways to make my world and the world around me a positive one. Sometimes life is so overwhelming you can only take it five minutes at a time. Make each of those five minutes worth it.
Wife, Mom of three kids two dogs and two cats. I love the outdoors and miss who was but am learning to love who I am. I’m a backyard birder, a LEGO lover, migraine sufferer and live with chronic illness. I love to think of myself as a very witty person though I have to admit that I find that I giggle at myself more than the outside world might. I wake up every morning thankful to be “on this side of the grass” and strive to live a life of joy.
I have suffered a traumatic brain injury which has made a significant change in the way I communicate. I struggle with multiple chronic illnesses including a cerebrospinal fluid leak.
Facing the changes I’ve been dealt has been an uphill battle. I’ve lost control of many things in my daily life and finding a new way to be happy has been something I’ve been striving for.
This website was/is being developed to bring those things I strive for to life. It is my hope to help others that are dealing with a change in their lifestyle due to physical illness and finding new means of happiness in the journey that lies ahead.
